From Jerry Gross: Mary Ellen Jackson was William Bassel Carper’s wife. All of the other records of their children confirm this. It’s another tie into Stonewall Jackson’s line. I went to the Jackson Brigade and found the following: Minter Jackson 35 yrs. b. Lewis Co. s\o E.H. and R. Jackson m. 20 Dec. 1860 Harriet Cummins 21 yrs. b. Lewis Co. d\o James E. and __ Cummins. Bk1853:10
