BURLINGTON — Ms. Mary Jacklet “Jackie” Graves, 80, of 3551-B Forestdale Drive, died at 4:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alleghenie County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Fred and Elizabeth McAllister Jacklet. She was a retired clerk with Sears and was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, James Harold (Pattie) Graves Jr.. of Burlington; a brother, Robert Paul Jacklet of Raleigh; three granddaughters, Mrs. Jennifer G. Nester, Mrs. Mary G. Wymbs and Miss Margaret Elizabeth Graves; and three great-grandchildren, Beasley Nester, Hiatt Nester and Samuel Nester.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. today at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Michael Hobbs, pastor of Davis Street United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of the son, James H. Graves Jr., 517 Country Club Drive, Burlington. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
