    Mr. Myers married, March 10, 1870, Mrs. Mary Crumrine, who was born November 8, 1840, in Harrison county, Ohio. Her father, Emanuel H. Hurless, was horn in Ohio, September 22, 1805, and died there August 18, 1845; while his wife, whose maiden name was Sarah Heaston, was born in that state February 16, 1811, and died there March 8, 1851. They reared three children, namely: John; Christina, wife of Fred Gebhart; and Mrs. Myers. Mrs. Myers married first, in February, 1861, John Crumrine, who enlisted as a soldier in the Civil war and died from sickness contracted in the army, leaving one child, Mary E., wife of Ira Kuns, of Artesia, New Mexico. Of the union of Mr. and Mrs. Myers, two children have been born, namely: Carrie A., wife of Ralph Roakes, of Gladbrook, and Willis H. of Quay county, New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Myers are active and valued members of the Methodist Episcopal church.
