From the The Independent Record, Helena, MT, Page 2, Monday, 4 Aug 1952: ÒWord has been recieved of the death, in Cedar Ridge, CA, of Mrs. Maude Hanson, a former resident of Meagher county and a cousin of Mrs. Harmon Kinnick, Alonzo, Turner and Norman Hanson. Mrs. Hanson was born near White Sulphur Springs in 1879, the daughter of Robert and Emmiline Hanson, pioneer ranchers of Smith river valley. Burial services were held in Missoula, where a sister, Mrs. William Randolph, resides.Ó
