[The identification of Mary/Mercy's father is incorrect. In his will of 13 Sep 1717, James Hamlin names his "Grandchildren Shuball; James & Ebenezer, the sons of my daughter Mary Davis" and no grandchildren named Hatch. His daughter Mary m. John Davis, Jr, s/o John, grandson of Dolar Davis. Further, a marriage in 1678 would suggest a birth by 1660, before James Hamlin and Mary Dunham were married. (See Source:Andrews, H. F.
