MARY ELIZABETH HAM was born in Apr 1857 at Indiana. She was the fourth of nine children, five boys and four girls. She appeared on the census of 1860 at Ripley Township, Montgomery County, Indiana. She appeared on the census of 1870 at Jackson Township, Fountain County, Indiana.
She married EMMANUEL FRANCIS REICHARD, son of WILLIAM REICHARD and SARAH YOUNT, on 28 Feb 1875 at Fountain County, Indiana, at the age of 17. They had five children, first two boys, then three girls. She and EMMANUEL FRANCIS REICHARD appeared on the census of 1880 at Jackson Township, Fountain County, Indiana. She and EMMANUEL FRANCIS REICHARD appeared on the census of 1900 at Mill Creek Township, Fountain County, Indiana. She and EMMANUEL FRANCIS REICHARD appeared on the census of 1910 at Union Township, Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana. There were two families in the neighborhood besides ours of Cooper relation. Aunt Minnie lived with her daughter Estel (Simmons) and Everett Cooper with wife Bessie and 3 sons.
Grandfather (Emmanuel) Reichard built their home the corner of Liberty and Russell. After his death grandmother (Mary Ham Reichard) rented out the lower level.
