Mary Ann "Mamie" Hughes, 92, of 4101 Sand Spring Road, Schnecksville, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Ellis W. Hughes.
She worked on a production line for General Electric, formerly of Allentown, for many years before retiring.
Born in Rextown, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Byron and Isabella (Rex) Hallman.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Slatington.
Survivors: Son, Richard H. of Allentown; daughter, Doris Mae Lauchnor, with whom she resided; sister, Mrs. Maude Kuntz of Slatington, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Harding-Fox Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
