    James & Mary Ann lived at Amsterdam, Botetourt Co VA ca 1850 & migrated to TX via TN in 1871. James died on the way and was buried at Reelfoot lake, Lake Co, TN. Mary Ann, with her eleven children, all born in Botetourt, bravely continued to TX & settled first in Belton, Bell Co.From there they moved to Taylor Co. TX & in 1881 to Abilene....
