The mother of Susan Perkins is Mary Polly Gross, They were married in Fleming County

Mary Polly Gross was the daughter of Jacob Gross-Grose & Elizabeth Jackson. They came to Kentucky- Fleming County about 1800 from Pennsylvania . Mary Polly was born in KY, but the other children were born in Penn.

On the 1850 Census of Fleming County there were three chilren listed still with their parents in the ages of 55-57 years

Daniel & Mary Polly was deeded their land for taking care of Jacob, Elizabeth and the three elderly girls, But after the death of jacob there was a law-suit from their other children to try to get the land back

The first deed I have on Jacob was from a William Jackson , I don't know if there is a relation there or not.

Mary Polly had another sister Evelene Harmon who married a Stanfield Jones in Fleming County, and had a number of children,, They were divorced due to his adultry and he married numerous times after that.

I have the complete family line of Daniel & Mary Polly Gross Harmon, I have their will, deeds, and property settlement. Will get back with you later today with the names of the other children that are listed in the will. Daniel & Mary Polly are buried in the Concord Cemetery but i haven't been able to find a stone, There are lots of harmon's buried there and some of the stones are very old and unreadable..
