    Mercy: the wife of Joseph patterson Deceast September : 1: 1710.

  3. The birth records of two daughters give the name Mary. The older is probably really Mary, named after her mother. This is the younger and, despite the birth record, appears to have been Mercy. The births of her children call her Mercy, her death record also, her father's probate [Middlesex Probate 9347, in 1724] says that daughter Mary had sons Sam'l & Eben'r Felsh [Felch?], while "Joseph Patteson who Married Mercy dec'd" is a separate party to the probate.
