Mary Fursman was baptised on 31st May 1723 at Bere Ferrers in Devon, daughter of Elizabeth Fursman, formerly Peirce, and her husband William Fursman. She has yet to be traced for certain after her baptism. It is quite possible she was the Mary Fursman who married John Drake in 1746, but proof has yet to be established.
