- Presumably Mary is listed in this family due to MD, p. 8:119, "Records of the First Parish in Brewster, Formerly the First Parish in Harwich, Mass.", which says: [Aug : 19 . 1744.] At ye Same time were baptized ... Ensign Freemans Mary ... She is listed in this family in Source:Freeman, Frederick. Freeman Genealogy in Three Parts, p. 59. However, no Mary is mentioned in Joseph's will, Joseph was over 60 and his wife over 55 in 1744, and Joseph was already called Capt. Joseph many years previous to this. So Mary probably belongs to some other Freeman family.
