Mary Ellen Woodward

Mary Ellen (Frisch) Woodward, 82, of Summit St., Fostoria, died at 8:05 a. m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at her residence.

She was born May 1, 1922, in Gibsonburg, to the late George and Nettie (Ki nker) Foster. She first married Vincent W Frisch on Jan. 25, 1941, in Fost oria. He died in September of 1962. She then married Irvin Woodward on Sep t. 15, 1964, in Cheyenne, W Va. He died March 25, 2001. Surviving are: a son, Christopher Frisch of Fostoria; four daughters, Rosa lind Thompson, Mary Lou Luman, Dorothy Jame Keiffer, all of Fostoria, a nd Karen Marie Weinke of Wausau, Wis.; three step-daughters, Mary Louise W oodward of Quantico, Va., Barbara Thompson of Jerry City OH, and Susan Co ffee of Floral City, Fla.; two brothers, Norman and Donald Fostoria; a sis ter, Alice Carpenter, all of Texas City, Texas; 16 grandchildren, nine ste p-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Wendel in Catholic Church in Fostoria. Burial will be in St. Wendelin Cemetery, F ostoria.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
