Will of William Fairfield (Essex Probate 9198) in 1742 names "Six Children of my Daughter Mary Whipple Deceased". In the probate file of Mary's husband John Whipple (Worcester Probate 63873), William Fairfield on 10 Oct 1732 directs that a debt reimbursing William for the doctor and funeral expenses of Sarah Whipple (presumably Sarah (Whipple) Fairfield who was John's mother, and William's step-mother), which he intended to go to his daughter Mary Whipple deceased, be paid to Rev. John Campbell of Oxford instead.
