  3. Most sources on this family only show 6 children (e.g., Source:Whipple, Blaine. 15 Generations of Whipples, p.G44; Source:Benedict, William Addison. History of the Town of Sutton, Massachusetts, from 1704 to 1876, p. 746). However, her father's will of 11 Feb 1730/31 mentions his "four daughters", as well as "the child that I suppose my wife to be now pregnant with". Elizabeth, whose baptism was four months after the will was written, would appear to be the latter, so there is still another daughter to account for. In any event, it appears both children probably died before 10 Oct 1732 when grandfather William Fairfield mentions the six children of his deceased daughter Mary.
