Mrs Mary M Cook Dead
Mrs Mary M Cook of South Washington died Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs Mary Lydon, death following a stroke of paralysis with which she was sustained last Friday afternoon. Mrs Cook lapsed into unconsciousness soon after the stroke and never regained her senses. She would have been seventy four years had she lived until next month. She was married once and leaves five children. The funeral will be held at South Washington Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
There seems to be an inexplicable error in her obituary - if the children attributed to her were hers, which seems to be substantiated by census and other records, then 8 of her children survived her.
