Mrs. Mary Cargill, wife of William Cargill, departed this life June 19, 1883, age 25. She was the daughter of Benjamin F. Eddington of Crystal Valley. She bore her long afflictions with Christian fortitude, never murmuring at the chastening rod. The deceased leaves a husband and a darling babe, besides a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. Her funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. W.J. Gamble, on Wednesday afternoon, June 20, to a very sympathizing congregation.
