Mary "Mame" Carmany, 76, of Central City RD, died June 10, 1996, at WindberHospital. Born March 13, 1920, in Shade Township. Daughter of Charles Sr. andFannie (Hiricuniak) Dooley. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Nick andPaul; and sister Ann. Survived by husband Ray; daughters: Mary Ann, wife ofPat Zubek, Central City RD, and Susan, wife of James Poorbaugh, SouthCarolina; granddaughters Becky and Danielle. Sister of Peter, New Jersey;Charles, John, George and Helen Deneen, all of Cairnbrook. Member of St.Mary's Russian Orthodox Church and St. Mary's Altar Society. Friends will bereceived from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, CentralCity, where brief service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, followed byDivine Liturgy at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Very Rev. John Govrusik.Interment, Shade Cemetery. Parastas will be sung at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday atthe funeral home. Friends who wish in lieu of flowers may make memorialcontributions to St. Mary's Building Fund or Regional Hospice at Windber inMary's memory.
