Obituary published in "the Otsego Farmer" Cooperstown, NY Friday, April 11, 1924.
J. A. Jackson, who for years was the ice dealer in this village, died Thursday morning at the home of Charles Bice in Pierstown. He is survived by his wife who was Mrs. Mary Bice, by a son Cary of Illion; two sisters Mrs. Sanford Ballard and Mrs. Elmira Fassett and one brother Andrew Jackson all of Cooperstown.
