CHRISTNER Daily American, November 16, 1995 

 Mary Edna Christner, 74, of Salisbury, formerly of Meyersdale, died Nov. 14, 1995, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Johnstown.  She was born April 3, 1921, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Eddie and Emma (Meyers) Combs.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J., and a daughter,  Edna "Polly."  She is survived by a daughter, Irene, married to Jon Brown of Salisbury; three grandchildren: Mike Brown, Pamara Bernard and Eddie Christner, and three great-grandchildren.  Member of Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale VFW and American Legion auxiliaries, and Salisbury Fire  Department.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Randall Marburger officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
