    Mary Margaret Clark Lieb, 102, of Onaga, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at The Frankfort Community Care Home.

    She was born February 19, 1911 at Lillis, the first child of Thomas C. and Minnie Stevens Clark. She graduated from Lillis High School in 1930, College of Paola in 1942 and Emporia State teachers College in 1971 with a bachelor of science in education. She taught in eleven different schools in Nemaha, Pottawatomie and Marshall counties, retiring after thirty four years of teaching.

    Mary was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, KNEA & NEA, Onaga Historical Society, Delta Kappa Gamma Society and served on the board for Victory School District.

    She met Henry Lieb at the Pottawatomie County Fair in 1939 and on May 24, 1944 they were married. He died February 10, 1984.

    Mary was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Thomas, John, Mark and Paul Clark, and a sister, Elizabeth Katzer Survivors include two sons, Charles (Doris) and Mark, all of Onaga, one daughter Margaret Huffman (Frank) Of Marysville and five granddaughters, six great- grand children, four step-grandchildren, nine step-great grand children 15 step great great-grandchildren, two sisters, Louise Reust of Frankfort and Frances Hupp of Topeka.

    Mary will lie in state Friday February 21st at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga, where a rosary will be prayed at 6:30 followed by visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held within the next 30 days at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at Onaga.
