Person:Mary Brown Hillier (1)

Mary's first known husband was Andrew Brown.  After his death in 1864, she married Edward Hillier who was also a Union veteran of the Civil War.  Mary applied for widows benefits from Edward's service in 1881. Application # 296,848. Certificate #326,007. He is variously listed as a Private in Company L 99th Regiment; and Private in Company C 199th Regiment. He was discharged by general order July 10, 1865.
