▼ Research Notes
- cos1776 Note: Her parents are believed to be Philip T. and Annie A. Beall. The supporting evidence comes by way of Marie's brother, Ira Littleton Beall. He is a known son of Philip and Annie Beall. In the 1920 Census, he is listed as a cotton mill machinist twice, once with his wife and kids in Guilford, Howard, Maryland and again as a married boarder in the household of sister Marie and her family in Baltimore City, Maryland. Marie's husband, John H. Sakers is listed as an overseer in the cotton mill, so it is probable that brother Ira stayed with Marie and family in town during the work week.
