Bapt 27 Mar 1842. Jemima [sic], daughter of George and Jemima Battye, of Burnlee, Upperthong (father: [illegible] dyer)

According to the 1861 census, George & Jemima Battye named their last daughter Mary Ann after their first daughter, also Mary Ann, who died in 1841. However, the only relevant baptism found was made in the name Jemima, the second last daughter, born in 1935 (baptism not found).
Mary Ann does not appear in the 1851 census.
