Mrs. Sebesta, Ex-Resident, Dies In West

Mrs. Mary B. Sebesta, 73, former Davenport resident, died Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John B. Hughes, Salinas, Calif.

She was the widow of Frank J. Sebesta, formerly of the business department of St. Ambrose College, Davenport. He died April 27, 1941.

Mrs. Sebesta was born in Montgomery, Minn.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Hughes; one son, Donald J., Denver, Colo.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Ballata, Monroe, Wash., and John G., Pine City, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. J.P. Campbell, Chicago, Mrs. F.J. Sebesta, Burlington, and Mrs. Wm. Zestora, St. Paul, Minn.

The body will be brought to the Halligan Funeral Home.

Sebesta Services

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Sebesta, 73, of Salinas, Calif., formerly of Davenport, will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday in Halligan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The body will arrive in Davenport early Wednesday morning. Mrs. Sebesta died Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John B. Hughes, Salinas.
