- ↑ The birth of sister Hannah, as recorded in Source:Douglas, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records to the End of the Year 1849, p. 16, labels her a twin, yet no record for the matching twin is to be found. Most websites show a daughter Mary born on the same date as Hannah. While a website that gives the basis for this hasn't been found yet, presumably the record for Hannah's twin was inadvertently left out, and so, on the basis of Hannah being labeled a twin, Mary is placed in this family.
