Named in her husband's March 1701/2 will as Mary. Maiden name not identified.
Referred to as a "non conformist" in the proving of her husband's will, and may have been a Quaker (the author presents a couple of additional indications of this).
↑ There has been speculation that her maiden name was Bailey, probably based on the fact that a Robert Bailey bequeathed a chest and his clothes to her son John Inman.
