    WOLFE CITY – Mrs. Mary Ann Bench of 3414 Barling St., Greeville, died about 11:45 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Hickory Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. W. W. Taylor and the Rev. Sam Grubbs and the Rev. Frank Casper officiating. Internment will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
    Born Aug. 9, 1869 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Calvin Atherton and Sarah Morgan. She married Andrew J. Bench in 1890. She was a member of the Primative Baptist Church. She had lived in the Hickory Creek Community for many years before moving to Greenville.
    Survivors include five sons: Calvin of Greenville, Henry of Dallas, Jack and Harley of Wolfe City, and Homer of Celeste; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Martin of Brownsville, Mrs. Belle Martin of Colorado City, TX, and Mrs. Bertha Cardwell of Lubbock; three step-children; Charley and Aldo Bench both of ? and Mrs. Molly Harrison of Arlington; two sisters, Mrs. Euna East and Mrs. Sarah Watson; a brother Lloyd Atherton of Houston; 73 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
    Mrs. Bench was preceeded in death by her husband, three children and five step children.
