Ringling - Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary F. (Armstrong) Buchmiller Roberts, 88, of Ringling are scheduled at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery.
Mary was born Nov. 9, 1933 at Wilson to the late Roland D. Armstrong and Mrs. Mina Melvina "Vina" (Thompson) Armstrong. She went to her heavenly home on Wednesday morning July 20, 2022 at a healthcare facility in Ardmore.
Mary was raised at Ringling graduating from Ringling High School in 1952. She married Mr. Donald Buchmiller and they were blessed with a daughter Debbie. Donald preceded her in death in 1981. Later in life she married Mr. Johnny "Bim" Roberts on July 1, 1984 at Ringling.
Mary was employed at the Ford dealership of Ringling as a bookkeeper and also as a cashier at Kress Dept. Store. She was always a devoted homemaker who enjoyed sewing. She always wrote her grandchildren personalized children story books with illustrations. Mary always loved and enjoyed writing poetry and attending church at Bethel Baptist Church where for many years she participated as a member singing, worshipping and being with her church family.
In addition to her husband Donald, also preceding her in death was her parents and brother Dean Armstrong.
