Mrs. Jane Lukie Is Forced To Drive For Four Hours. Victim Unmolested By Abductors Police Are Told Bandits Take Possession Of Taxicab. Police are investigating a story of Mrs. Jane Lukie, 21 years old, Makenzie Apartments, 3940 Beech Street, Mariemont, that she was kidnaped in her own automobile, forced to drive around for four hours and released in St. Bernard, early yesterday. Mrs. Lukie, wife of J. A. Lukie, night student in the Engineering College, University of Cincinnati, told police that the men did not display weapons and made no attempt to rob or molest her. According to Mrs. Lukie, she had visited friends in Mt. Auburn and was on her way home driving on Auburn and McGregor Avenues, when the two men leaped on the running board of her automobile. They then entered the automobile and ordered her to take them for a ride. Four hours later, she said, they alighted in St. Bernard and she drove on to her home. Motive Of Kidnaping Lacking. It was learned at the Lukie home that Mrs. Lukie was exhausted from her four-hour ride with her abductors. Police were unable to explain the motive of the kidnapers, who apparently just wanted a "joyride." ...
