Mary Anderson, second child of George Anderson and Deborah Grant, was born in Savannah, July 30, 1766, and died December 31, 1852. She married, June 12, 1781, John Wallace, of Scotland, who was the first English Consul in Savannah after the American Revolution, a brother of Hon. James Wallace and of Hon. Michael Wallace, who moved to Nova Scotia and rose to high offices of trust in that Colony.
