The Burlington Daily Times-News June 7, 1973 Mamie A. Aldridge

  Mrs. Mamie Anderson Aldridge, 80, of Rt. 5, Burlington, died at 8:23 a.m. today in a local hospital following three years of failing health and eight day of critical illness.
  A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late James and Nannie Whitted Anderson, and the wife of the Walter David Aldridge. She was a member of the Cross Roads Presbyterian Church.
  Survivors include three daughters. Mrs. Lula Kimsey of Greensboro, Miss Nell Aldridge and Miss Mary Aldridge, both of the home; two sons, Levi P. Aldridge of Burlington, Marvin M. Aldridge of Rt. 5, Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Myra A. Wyatte of Rt. 9, Burlington; one brother, Dallas M. Anderson of Rt. 5, Burlington; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
  Final rites will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cross Roads Presbyterian Church. The Rev. James M. Rissmiller, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
  The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home in Graham until taken to the church for the service. The family will be at the funeral on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the building fund of the Cross Roads Presbyterian Church.
