    Marvin Thomas Waldrop, 67, passed away February 2, 1996 in Caruthersville.

    Born June 26, 1928 in Braggadocio, he is the son of Edith Hamlett Waldrop and the late E. L. Waldrop.

    He attended schools in Braggadocio and was a 1946 graduate of Braggadocio High School.

    On August 21, 1948 at Piggott, AR he was united in marriage to Maxine Young.

    Mr. Waldrop was employed as an automobile mechanic for many years.

    He was an avid hunter and outdoors man and some of the happiest times in his life was when he was out in the woods with his sons and his old baclk and tan dog, Major.

    Survivors include his wife, Maxine Waldrop of Caruthersville; his mother, Edith Waldrop of Braggadocio; three sons: Randall, Steve and Terry Waldrop all of Caruthersville; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and one steop-grandson, four sisters and one brother.

    Two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.

    Funeral services were held February 4th at 1 PM at the H. S. Smith Funeral Home with Rev Robert Griffin officiating.

    Interment was in Pemiscot Memorial Gardens in Caruthersville.

    Pallbearers were Hansel Morgan, Ralph Sides, Neal Quinn, Aaron Jones, Lavanda White and John Clyde Thompson.

    Honorary pallbearers were Slick Wallen and Fred White.

    The H. S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge of services.
