DALLAS – Marvin Emerson Luton, 79, of 1246 Main St., died Saturday at home.

He was born in Golden Pond, KY., and lived in Portland before coming to Dallas in 1960. He was office manager for J.C. Tracy Cannery. He was a member of Masons and Methodist Church.

Survivors include wife, Florence; son, Gary, Albany; daughters, Nancy Oberg, Astoria, and Janet Schultz, Salem; brother Christopher, and sister, Myra Frary, Portland; eight grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Bollman mortuary. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Crescent Grove Cemetery, Tigard.
