An Export man died last night after crashing an ATV into two wooden posts designed to deflect vehicles, according to state police. Marvin Loughner, age unknown, was driving an ATV along Story Road in Salem Township around 10:40 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and slammed into the posts, police said. Loughner died at the scene from blunt force trauma to the head, police said. He was not wearing a helmet.

    Marvin Lee Loughner, 53, of Export, Washington Township, died suddenly on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007. He was born Feb. 24, 1954, in Greensburg to Willamina "Mina" Hizer Loughner, of Export, and the late Walter J. Loughner Sr. Marvin was a heavy equipment operator for J. Scott Enterprises and an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his animals. Surviving are his wife, Christy Good Loughner; daughter, Amy Marie Tobin, of Apollo; stepchildren, Moriah Bodzer, of Latrobe, and Christopher and Luke Perez, of Delmont; grandchildren, Zoe and Zac, and siblings, Esther (Leo) Bankage, of Norytown, Ronnie (Joy) Loughner, of Baytown, Texas, Vivian (Harlon) Shearer and Ellen (Tom) Haney, of Slickville, Walter J. (Sharon) Loughner Jr., of North Versailles, Willamina (Paul) Speck, of Pocahontas, Tenn., and Donald H. (Tammy) Loughner, of Export.
