Marvel E Root April 4, 1911 -- July 18, 2004

Marvel E Root, 93, 3551 W State St., died early Sunday morning in the Inte nsive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital.

Marvel was born in Seneca CO to the now-deceased Roy and Jennie (Hartle y) Hull and graduated with the class of 1929 on May 7, 1930 at Ross High S chool. She married Donald Root and he preceded her on Nov. 28, 1994.

Surviving Marvel are sons, Kenneth (Gloria) Root and Ronald (Nancy) Roo t, both of Fremont; grandchildren, Gary, Michael and Wendy Root, Pamela Du nham, Mark Root, Betsey Copley and Stacy Trenda; and 12 great-grandchildre n. In addition to her husband, she is preceded by brother, Wayne Hull, sis ters, Beulah Heltebrake and Virginia Limestahl, grandson, Todd Root, and g reat-grandson Kerry Root.

A homemaker, Marvel was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and its Altar Gu ild and a charter member of the Bide-a-Wee Farm Women's Club.

She took great pride in displaying her flowers at the Sandusky CO Fair ea ch year and in her artistic ability in ceramics and china painting, whi ch she also taught in her home.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funer al Home, 416 S Arch St.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church, 1187 Sandus ky CO Rd 128, with Pastor James Avers officiating.

Burial: Four-Mile House Cemetery.

Memorials: Heinz Memorial Fund at Faith Lutheran Church.
