Disambiguation

NOT to be confused with Martin Zorn (1753-1836), son of Jacob Zorn and Mary Ruhlman. Some researchers have confused the two and placed this Martin, born 1750, in the place of Jacob Zorn's son Martin, born in 1753. In "A compilation of data on the "Zorn family in America", by Ed Bryant Bates, he clearly places Martin Zorn, born in 1753 and who married Catherine Stout, as the son of Jacob Zorn and Mary Ruhlman, and NOT of Andreas Zorn. It is not known what happened to this Martin Zorn, additional research is needed.
