    Martin Mayer was born Jan. 3, 1875 in Klein Lomnitz, Hungary. His parents were Jakob Mager and Agnes (Klimek) Mager. He immigrated to the United States from Hamburg Germany Nov. 1899 through New York. He was granted US citizenship in September 1909. His son Henry was born in Pittsburg, PA in 1906 and daugther Helen born abt. 1911. In 1918 when Martin registered for the WWI draft they lived in Los Angeles and Martin worked for the Llewellyn Iron Works in LA.
