Martin L. "Bud" Clark, age 65, of Bergholz Rd. Mechanicstown, died Monday at his residence following a five month illness. He was born March 1, 1932 in Zoar, to the late Thomas and Grace (Palmer) Clark. He was a life resident of Fox Township and was a self-employed roof painter. He retired from Eljer Corporation of Salem in 1984 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church and the VFW #3301 of Carrollton. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Martin Lee and Susan Clark, Jr. of Carrollton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Michael (Debbie) Linder of Minerva and Mrs. Mitch (Barb) Fox of Carrollton; two brothers, Frank Clark of Mechanicstown and Earl Clark of Carrollton; one sister, Audrey McNinich of Carrollton; and four grandchildren. A sister, Sylvia Wade is deceased. Funeral services are at 11 a.m., October 2 at the Allmon-Dugger & Hively Funeral Home in Carrollton, with Rev. Dennis Devorick officiating. Burial will be in Scroggsfield Cemetery.
