Will of "Martha Thwing of the County of Lincoln and State of Tennessee", dated 13 Jan 1840, codicil dated 23 May 1840, record 8 Oct 1841, mentions "Mrs Mary E. Wheeler wife of David Wheeler and her children", "my faithful old servant Peter", "appoint James Bright sole Executor". [David Thwing Wheeler was Martha's grandson, and apparently the only child of Martha's daughter Martha and her husband John Wheeler that stayed in Tennessee with Martha. After Martha's death, David Wheeler and family also went to Texas.]
