    In Memory of MARTHA, wife of JOHN ADAMS of Place:Winkfield, Berkshire, England, and daughter of Elisha and Judith Webb, late of Beenham, who died February 4th, 1813, aged 26 years.
    Short was her pilgrimage below,
    And few her wedded years;
    Long sickness brought her to the tomb;
    Dismiss'd were all her cares.
    Though buried in the dust, this clay
    At the last day shall rise.
    Oh! may we on that joyful morn
    Meet her above the skies.
