April 5, 1928 (2280) [excerpt]: Mrs. Martha Ploof died on March 21st ......with pneumonia, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hervey Dushane ..... Mrs. Ploof was 74 years old last November and when a young girl she married Moses Ploof. Seven children were born .... Mrs. Dudley Moore and Mrs. Hervey Dushane of this place .... She was laid to rest beside her husband in Ironville Cemetery.
