Martha M. Laughner, age 90, of 7869 Laurel Mill Rd., Ridgway, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Pinecrest Manor, following a brief illness. She was born October 18, 1930, in Ridgway, daughter of the late John and Mary (Bosnik) Strauss. She married Rollin A. Laughner, Sr. on September 26, 1953, he preceded her in death on June 26, 2004. She resided in Ridgway all her life and was a lifelong member of St. Leo Catholic Church. Martha was a graduate of St. Leo High School Class of 1948 and a 1951 graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Buffalo, NY. She had been employed by Elk County General Hospital, retiring in 1993 after over 40 years of service.
She is survived by the following children: Beverly J. (Frank) Addeo of Ridgway, Rollin A. "Rusty" Laughner, Jr. and Dana of Ridgway, Gerald M. (Joni) Laughner of Enon, OH, Timothy J. Laughner and Sarah of Clarington, PA, and Susan M. (Steve) Allen of Jacksonville, FL, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Edith Fedus of Ridgway and Dorothy Moline of Port Charlotte, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers: John, Frank, Louis, Carl, and Albin Strauss, and infant Francis Strauss, and 5 sisters: Grace Yonosko, Antoinette Clopp, Mary Poklar, Alice Thompson, and Anne Parana.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Strauss and Mary Strauss (Bosnik); her husband Rollin A. Laughner, Sr.; and her siblings, John, Frank, Louis, Carl, Albin Strauss, Francis Strauss, Grace Yonosko, Antoinette Clopp, Mary Poklar, Alice Thompson and Anne Parana.
