    After an illness of about three weeks, Mrs. Martha Yale died June 26 at the age of 79, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Stricker.
    Mrs. Yale, daughter of John and Elizabeth Nicholson Stockman, was born in Harmony township, July 18, 1867.
    Surviving are her two sons, Emmett of Janesville, Harry of Milton Junction; three daughters, Mrs. Stella Bancroft and Mrs. Myrtle Stricker, Harmony, and Mrs. Gladys Kelly of Johnstown.
    Preceding her in death were her husband Henry and three children, Eugene and Bert Yale, and May McCartney.
    Funeral services were held Friday at the Gray and Albrecht funeral home, with the Rev. W. S. Carr officiating. Burial was in Milton cemetery. Pallbearers were: Elam Coon, Arthur Holmes, Roy Cary and Ralph Marquart. Assisting with flowers were Mrs. Roy Cary, Mrs. Arthur Holmes and Mrs. Harry Mullen.
    Among those from away who attended were: Lynn Wood, Hartford, S. Dakota, Mrs. John Sourwine, Escanaba, Michigan, Miss Isabelle Walker, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bennett, Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Goehl and Mrs. Conrad Goehl, Waterloo, Mrs. Mabel Will, Hartland, Mrs. George Dooley and daughter, Brodhead, and several from Janesville and Edgerton.
