Marriage Wells Orlan and Byers Mabel

    Wells-Byers

Mr. Orlan Wells and Miss Mabel Byers, both members of the senior class of the Chariton high school, were married a few days ago in Albia at the home of the groom's aunt, Mrs. Newman, the M. E. pastor at that place performing the ceremony. The young couple had expected to keep the matter a secret until school was over, but the news leaked out and they are now receiving the congratulations of their friends.. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Wells, of this city, and the bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Byers, of English township, both being high respected families.
