Boggs Martha W, 97, widow of the late Luther Boggs, 321 N. Mulberry, Churubusco, died July 8 in Whitley County Hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1878 to Albert and Mary Ann Shanabarger in Noble County. She married Luther Boggs Feb. 16, 1901. They were lifetime residents in the southern Noble County and Churubusco area. She was a member of the Blue River Church of God, Charter Oak WSCS and the Young at Heart Club, Churubusco. Surviving are Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Lehner, Kendallville, and Mrs. Ralph (Audra) Owen, Ligonier; nine grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. A son, Harmon, and an infant daughter preceded her in death. Services were Thursday in Merriam Christian Chapel. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. + 7-8-1975
