    DEATHS
    Mrs. Martha Page Ford Brent, aged 87, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, at the residence of W.T. Talbott, on Eighth street, of general debility.

    The deceased was formerly Miss Martha Page and was born in Alleghany City, Pa., and moved to Cincinnati at about the age of 16, and one year later married Mr. Nicholas Ford, of Louisville. Of this union, which lasted until the death of Mr. Ford ten years after, five children were born - Edward, William and James K. Ford, Mrs. Nichola Ford Brent and Mrs. Millie Elliot Hall, of Owensboro.

    Remaining a widow 25 yeard, she married Mr. C.S. Brent, Sr., of which union there were no children.

    Only one child, Mrs. Frank Hall, of Owensboro, survives, and the following grandchildren - Mr. N.F. Brent and Miss Tillie Brent, of Paris; Mrs. Sadie Simmeral, of Covington, and the daughter of Wm. Ford, of Arkansas.

    Mrs. Brent was a most estimable woman and was enabled to do many good works with her ample fortune, as she inherited a few years ago $115,000 from the Ford estate of New York.

    The funeral was held yesterday at 12 o'clock, noon, from the Episcopal Church, of this city. Burial at Paris cemetery.
