William McComb (deceased by 1808) and his sister Martha (born 1844 [s/b "1744"] and married a John Leech) moved to Rockbridge county in the 1780's, no record shows where they moved from.
William married a Martha not long after arriving, haven't been able to find a last name for her. their children were as follows, Elizabeth who married a John Bell, Hugh, Jane , Mary who married a John Price ( on all the census records they lived next door to the family in Rockbridge county and they were the first ones to move to Pocahintas county, so thats probabally where the name price came in, Sarah who married a James Crosby, a William who married a Martha Parks and Samuel who married a Sarah (Sallie) Woods.
Samuel and Sarah's children were, Evaline who married a Richard Rider, Elizabeth who married a Thomas Gulaspie and moved to Ohio, William Woods who married Margaret L Shafer( my great-great grandparents), James Price who married Eliza Moore ( your great great grandparents, Julia Ann who married John Clarkson, Jane who married Lovingston Sprouse ( their graves are also missing), Rebecca, Margaret who married Robert Ocheltree and Angeline who married Elihu Gaylor.
