Daughter of Robert and Jane Hamilton McCann. Martha married Christopher Orr on May 2, 1820 in Anderson County, SC, they moved to Mississippi in 1844.

The deceased was in the sixty-fifth year of her age, and had been nearly fifty years an exemplary member of the Presbyterian Church.
