Martha Elizabeth was a member of the American Letion Auxiliary. Also Auxiliary to WWI. She attended elementary school in Tell City, Indiana, and Draughous B. College.

She married Joe L. Flint in 1912. They had two children, Hazel Farine and Spencer B. Flint.

Martha Elizabeth Lamar and Edwiina Roehm visited George W. Lamar in Artesia, New Mexico, in 1909. Martha returned to Graham, Texas, to live with her Aunt Mary Dolman while her son, John J. Gallaher, was serving in the U. S. Navy. Mary Dolman was operating a hotel in Graford, Texas.
